I may sell my project since I have a line on a nice 23 Contender that's priced nice.
Most of the hard work has been done. I redid the floor, the gunnels with nida core. The transom was poured with Arjay and I've pretty much sanded most of the hull. I have almost most of the parts to be put back. I sold the console but I do have a leaning post. The gas tank is in decent shape and it's the 70 gallon size.i also have the original splash well. It sits on a aluminum trailer that has new tires but needs a winch stand and needs lights. So what would something like this be worth? |

Need photos to make a proper assessment.

Projects don't bring much money regardless of what has been done to them. Do you have an engine for it? Do you have receipts for the work done or at least for the materials to show the perspective buyer? Need more details for a proper assessment.
FWIW - I bought my running 20' Master Angler with a 1987 175 Yamaha and trailer for $3500.00 |

I think I may put it under cover and have it finished at the end of the summer.
I was given an estimate to have it finished as to the paint to get it ready for the rest of $2500. But then start adding all the other things and then a motor. I want to be on the water this summer and the boat I'm looking at would get me there |

I`ve slowing been collecting pieces/ parts for my 25. Carry cash and scoop the deals pronto Tonto. I`ve flipped a bunch and helped many others along the way. I`ve also seen it come back my way. Some stranger to me on tht asked me if I was still looking for a twin bracket. 500? Thank you my new friend. |

keep it if you can, youll never get close to what you have in it once you figure in your labor

If you get half of what materials you have in it you are better off than most.

what is a true dollar it will fetch when you are done with it?it still takes an awful lot to complete a 20' project boat.gotta finish it ,or sell now and don't look back

My prior owner bought the 20 MA for 5K, put 30K into it (all re-done), and sold it to me 7 years later for 10K. (still with only 104 hours on a 2 stroke 200 Yamaha). Hope that provides some guidance, although it may give you a little depression. These things are a labor of love

You could make a guy like me a great deal on the project as is. While I have a limited budget I do have a best friend that owns a small boat building and restoration shop. :-)
