Default 1979 Seavette back in action

I have been slowly getting this old gal back in working order. Im about 85% complete. I ran into a large fiberglass problem/delay in addressing a soft spot in the cabin. Long story short, I had to remove the orinigal long cabin window to ensure that she is seaworthy and water tight. Bascially had to redo the entire cabin topside. I brough all the exterior wood back to bristol condition and Im now starting to enjoy running her around the bay.

She is surprisingly fast with a 250 pushing her. I saw 47 WOT..until I spun the hub. Take a look and let me know what you think. Also Topflight graphics (who I learned about on this site) made all the new decals which turned out amazing.(I think).

Next up is finishing headliner in cabin interior and maybe tinting the window/windshield to complete the james bond spy boat vibes of this unique old boat.

Quick story on the yellow SeaVette Dave used to own (I'm pretty sure his name was Dave), the one he brought to a gathering in New Port Richey....you know the one GFS took on a ride and it took a day to wipe the smile off his face!!!!! Anyway, my brother asked me to look at the old beat up I/O 23' CC in Palmetto he was looking to buy. I got the directions, drove up to the house and low and behold right next door was the yellow SeaVette in the side yard. Had a nice conversation with his wife about the boat and still wonder who bought it and where it's at.

Nice job Mr. peterdiamond on your SeaVette!!!!!

Haha!

Lost2a6 aka Steve was late coming to Long Point as it was getting dark and
we were worried he might be on the side of the road as he had a LOOOONNNNNNG
tow.

We could hear her coming from a mile away.
