1977 Seacraft Savage for Sale
Partially restored, runs great now but needs all the cosmetic work an original 1977 boat would need. Asking $11,900 firm.
Here is the original FOR SALE thread that I bought the boat from... RARE 23' straight inboard -center console SAVAGE Here is the tread that I started when taking delivery and replacing the motor... 77 23' Savage I love the boat but found with 3 kids and a wife that want to be included that it's just not the right fit for us. So rather than continue to put money in, I've just decided to take the loss and give it up to someone who can enjoy it as is, or continue the restoration. She really is a great running boat. CALL or EMAIL any time (321) 684-9144 or bryan@dolnik.com - Thanks, Bryan Recent photos coming in next posts. |

Original console completely redone, just waiting for instruments and accessories. Brand new binnacle controls and Hynautics Steering Helm installed September 07. Hydraulic steering works perfect.

New 350 Vortec Inboard professionally installed in October 2007. Motor is manufactured by Indmar and was purchased from E-Basic Power. Motor is still under factory warranty!
Fuel tanks were inspected and cleaned at the same time. We used the original transmission and with about 20 hours on the motor now all seems fine with it. |

My daughter at the helm. Not shown is a brand new clear plexiglass windshield, fabricated from the original, that is now installed. Also I've polished and re-installed the original rod holders where you see the empty holes on the starboard side.

Re: 1977 Seacraft Savage for Sale
Bryan,
Looks like your daughter is bringing the boat into Turkey Creek. Does this mean the boat is at Palm Bay Marina? I'm not in the market (too much time away from home and too many house projects pending ), but I would love to see it some time when I'm home(Satellite Beach). I'll make contact as I know my schedule and see when it's convenient for you. Lloyd

Yes Lloyd, it's at the Palm Bay Marina. Ed there is the one who put the new motor in.

Re: 1977 Seacraft Savage for Sale
Ok, here are some more pictures. As you can see the leaning post is in pretty good condition, all I did was re-varnish the rod holder section and clean up the aluminum and vinyl.

There are two brand new AGM batteries which were installed in September 07, along with a new battery switch and combiner. The Racor fuel filter is also new.

Here she is sitting in the water, the bow pulpit is not on but I'll probably be installing it in the next day or so just to get it out of storage.

Re: 1977 Seacraft Savage for Sale
Here's the interior cabin, hard to get a good picture in there but it's relatively clean. All the original teak has been removed and sanded, ready for varnish. The teak rod holders from the stern are also ready for varnish and in great shape after a thorough sanding. The cabin door and the teak under the railing are the only things not removed yet.
