An old friend passed away last year after a long bout with cancer and his wife must put his boat up for sale. It's a '76 23' CC Super Fisherman model with a Mercruiser I/O that was replaced about 5 years ago, but only used for a season or two. The boat had been restored, hull and interior painted (red/white). It does not have a T Top, but includes a decent compliment of electronics and is on a serviceable trailer. The Outdrive is missing as the boat had been winterized and covered when he became ill and the outdrive was at a shop somewhere and we can not locate it.
Does anyone have even a ball park value for the boat? I'm an old Mako nut and SeaCrafts are a bit out of my area of expertise. Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and the widow. |

Sorry about your friend...
Try to post some pics, that would give us a better idea. Location also plays into the factoring.. See ya, Ken

I do not have pictures, at least yet, as the boat has been shrink wrapped for the past two years. Will try and uncover it when I get back from a business trip in two weeks. It is located in New Jersey and has had many, many striped bass come over the gunnel. It is pretty much set up for bass fishing and is particularly adept at trolling because of the I/O.
The boat was my friends companion for a lot of years and he had put a pile of money into it to maintain and upgrade. It will make someone else a nice companion for many more years. |
