Default Re: Monster Cubera / Dogtooth Snapper

Np and thanks, Red grouper sit and chew the bait ,Blacks,Gags grab and go. YT, Muttons grab it gently and haul a$$ ready to drop it quickly, Not sure or if u meant red snapper, never seen one eating anything but steel lol. Large Mangos hit like a freight train out of control.
No I was not on the tug, I think we were about 4-6 miles north.
This shoulder is killin me, hurts like heck to move, feels like it is tearing with each step, wife ready to kill me dogs are even sick 0of my whining. Soon as I am better I cannot wait to go fishing. had a successful Archery season, w two deer from our property, so freezer is stocked.
Its a funny thing talking the other day about fish weights and peoples perception. Seeing the fish in the water I would have banked on 150lbs. Seeing it out of water I was thinking 85+ he only weighed 61, I see other "50lb" fish that this thing could swallow, but I can see how easy it is to over guess a weight.
