Fiberglass Repair - Pinholes ?
Doing a repair on a friend's boat - bad dock rash - big voids. Did all the structural repairs, and fairing with Evercoat Putty Glaze - still getting small voids and pinholes. Any way to avoid this or is there a product that can help alleviate this ? Thx.. |

Re: Fiberglass Repair - Pinholes ?
a great product to get into the habit of using over a repair is dura tec "surfacer/primer",spary this over the repaired area,it will fill the pinholes...i use this on almost every repair...

Re: Fiberglass Repair - Pinholes ?
Thx guys, I will check it out. I got burned last year mixing some duraglass that did not kick right and I had to remove it, so I have been whipping it a bit more than the fold technique. Back to basics !
I have not used DuraTec, but hear it is a great product - off to their website to do some reading ! Thx |
