Martin...thanks for the picture....at least I am not way off with the height...I like the idea of your shelf on windshield....
Do you plan on keeping the shelf?
.....as you know very limited space on the 18 consoles.
Thanks again,
-Fred

Thanks, I do plan on keeping the shelf. I will angle it so it will be closer to level when I redo the boat. Right now, anything I put on it slides off! The holes were in the windshield when I bought the boat, so, I just reused the holes.

Fianlly some clear weather..

Cut out old bad wood on bow area and replaced with new wood.
2 layers 1.5 oz mat
1 sheet 1/4" ply
2 layers 1708
will finish up with another layer of 1708 grind bevel and 1708 tape for edges then fair out, prime and paint.

Default Microballons

Rain delay so I thought I would ask a question.
Can microballons be mixed into a 2 part epoxy primer. I do not have a real high build primer so I was thiking of adding microballons to my existing 2 part primer...will this work ok to create a real high build primer???
Thanks fo all the input/help in advance!

Today I got some more fairing done on the bow and recored all hatches. I also filled in some more topside holes including front rod holders etc and primed the sole..next I will finish sanding/fairing and rest of priming...followed by finish coat for interior.
Some attached pictures...it has been real slow going due to rain every afternoon and also the darned heat!!!
