Default Thinking about 18 or 20 CC

I'm thinking about buying an 18 or 20 Seacraft CC. I was wondering if there are any years I should look for or avoid?
Also do these have foam flotation?
I assume the stringers and floor is wood, so I haven't decided if I want a "fixer upper" or look for one that has been redone.
Thanks.

Buy a 20', there's not many 18's out there. Any year. All floors and transoms are wood. Stringers are foam filled.

You have to love the work to take the fixer upper route. It's always way more work and money than you think. There's a strong case for buying someone else's labor of love, if it's done right.

One could make a strong case for buying new, too.

As long as you buy something and enjoy it.
