Default Well its been a while.....

Hello All-

I trust all is well? It has been a while since I have posted or edited anything with the site (my apologies for this), I have been here in the background monitoring and doing the usual lost password searches, nipping and tucking where need be and speaking with many of you on the phone in regards to your boats and current events.

I have been tremendously busy with work, life and all the things between......unfortunately, one of those things is not my SeaCraft. I wish, like most of you (except you Capt. Chuck ) I could be on the boat everyday now that the weather has changed for the better and the fish are here.

I wanted to take the time to thank you all for making CSC one of the best topic specific web-sites and for making my position as Administrator so easy, I seriously mean that you guys are fantastic. I hope everyone has the same amount of pride in this CSC as I do because you must realize this site is no more mine that it is the yours, because of you all (y'all if your in the south) we are recognized by major periodicals as the source for info on SeaCraft boats, new and old. Recently, CSC has been featured in the following periodicals: the Miami Herald, Powerboat Reports, Offshore Magazine, and there is another big article to come out in the future by another major publication (hopefully featuring one members boat, sorry for the hush hush but I do not think I can spill the beans)

So in closing Thank you and enjoy your boats this summer.....

I think you may enjoy this shot:

Nothing beats 3 years of hard work, brand new bolsters, and cushions getting filthy with lobster trap funk but boy those little critters are TASTY....

Nice bolsters! BTW Im getting the low down on next years Dania Beach Marine Flea Market. I am also getting the low down on a new hotel that they finished on Bass Pro Shops property (we hold our union meetings there) which is a stones throw from Dania Jai Alai. I am also trying the new Hard Rock Hotel which is close too. As soon as I can get a tenative date I will let y'all (yes Im in the south, even though Im a transplant from Stamford CT)know. As for my "project" I was told I can't touch it till her bedroom is finsihed. Needless to say its down to drywall and tile. PS Not touching the boat is not the same as not buying things for the boat. The list of stuff is getting bigger. all new alcon pop up cleats and bow light, new stainless gauges, stainless 3 spoke wheel with spinner, all stainless hinges and hardware, with a new swith panel on the way. Now if I can find a place to hide a new motor???? Y'all have fun now y'hear.

TB-

I am very much looking forward to next year. Thanks for the research on the new hotel, that location would be great. I can relet 100% with working on the home and the boat at the same time.

Capt C- You are right they are shorts, I did throw them back just for the record. Lobstering has been unreal this year, (my first in RI). I have only checked the traps, I have 4, 3-4 times and I am up to 25 lobsters only 10 have been legal the rest shorts or eggers. My neighbor checks my traps when he is out fishing with his kids 1 a week and he as done just as well, better than me actually

Trayder - keep up the good work - this is a great site and you planted the seeds for this fantastic community ('cept for Finster ). We still need to hook up at some point & fish, hopefully by the fall run

Hey Jason - Nice picture . . . BTW - If you see any two chamber lobster traps (4 footers) in the want ad . . . buy a few. They outfish the little traps about 50 to 1 and you can leave them for many days without the lobsters getting out.
