Re: To each his own.......
That's been on the market for I don't know how long. It would be great for a commercial towing/salvage operation or for a harbormaster, but man is it ugly!!

Re: To each his own.......
One thing for sure you cant put SeaCraft owners in a cookie cutter mold and expect us to all fit. We are one creative bunch of nuts.

Re: To each his own.......
Wow...um...ah....er.... .
I was born in California and lived there until the early 90's so I think I can get away with saying they have some funky ideas about boats out there. To look at the sportfishers out there and you would think that having a boat without a bow rail all the way around the thing was against the law or something. A real clean-lined Carolina boat would likely be laughed at for not being "finished". The set of accomodations on top that 23' are potentially functional, but as ScottM said, it's far from pretty! |

Re: To each his own.......
We all know that "Home Built" in the driveway can be many shades of thing's. To aspire to build what look's
"Factory Built" is the goal, with lines that look like there going 50mph standing still. This one is not that and is a typical plywood "Dog Box". |

GW - kinda looks like a Grady to me. just kidding.
Makes you want to cry!!! If the picture doesn't the ad in Yachtworld will when you see the price they're asking . . . 30k. I moved out here almost a year ago and it's very very different boating world. In this guys defense, the cabin is very functional for the conditions out here. Temps in the valley are usually 95+ degrees during the summer. Once you get on the water, the temp cools right down to a wet and windy 55 degrees. Kinda like Chatham (when it's nasty). |

Re: To each his own.......
I run across that one every once in a while....it's going to take a special buyer to want that. Had it been on the market when I was looking for my boat I probably would have drove the 6 hours south to take a look.... I was desparete back then for a SeaCraft because there was nothing even close to California. Then I got lucky and found mine in Arizona. The goal for the buyer should be to find a boat that has not yet been molested...then you can take the restoration any way you want.. keep it original or bracket it and fill in the transom.

Re: To each his own.......
That reminds me of an old girlfriend when I lived in San Jose. She had a killer hull - a real classic. But, unfortunately, she wasn't that great up top and sometimes hard to look at. Expensive too.
But, man, was she good in a head sea...
