That boat looks similar to a boat that a co-worker had. He also thought it was a SeaCraft because the hull # started with SC, come to find out the SC stood for Space Craft.

I was wondering about that one too. Looks real nice, but something about it just doesn't look right, don't know what it is.
It's not a variable deadrise hull. You can see it in the shot of the transom. It shows strakes instead of vertical risers.

I ran it and in NJ it is registered as a 23ft. 1974 "TRA". I dont know what a "TRA" is but it does look like a John Allmond to me too.

I sent the seller a message two days ago telling him he was mistaken and it's not a Seacraft. I included a link to Clasicseacraft.com. He replied that he was selling for a friend and didn't really know very much about the boat. I mentioned that he could verify it's not a seacraft by the HIN. His reply was:

"serial# s?c10431m74b is that help at all? the secound letter seems to be an I or an E not sure."

I also suggested he revise his description as it would be a shame to screw up his 100% positive feedback because his buddy gave him a bad description. As of this writing, no revision to the description.
