Pretty damn clean Chuck.

Are you thinking of a new mounting pad for under the control?

I'm confused here Warthog
The wedge you see is a new pad. It was constructed out of PVC board & Glass over top and painted. I was hoping it would give the appearance of a molded in piece of the console. What did you have in mind....

He may have been thinking wood. Hey Chuck I have to say you have the nicest looking helm on any of the 23's I've seen That boat has class written all over it. Thanks for sharing. When is the 300 zuke going on?

Yes, More Mahogany.

From the pix, I throught it was just a piece of Starboard. The addition of the wood under the helm, almost dictates that it be wood under the throttle too.
