Default hardware 74 potter

i have a 74 23 that has a hole with alum. cover with a hole in the middle that allows 3/4"anchor line from the front hatch to come out. i have a stainless clip to hook to the chain of the anchor. i need to replace this alum. plate. Was this original or was this added after the fact? i have checked with west marine and all they have is the plate with a cover plate that is used with a windlass. i like the flush to the deck idea of the plate i have. i need to find a source for this part?????

I doesn't sound like original equipment but I am not exactly sure what you are refering to. If you can post a pic of it that would help imensely. Or if you can't do that, look through the gallery of 23's and see if there is something similiar. Lint it and I'm sure the 23 owners can help.

My 76 MA has the same plate that you are talking about. It is just behind the front nav light and will feed the rope into the front storage bin. Sorry but I do not know where any are either.

I have the same thing too. I'm considering options to change my anchor setup that may mean I no longer need it. I'll know better in a few weeks if you can wait.
