Default Round 2 Ding Ding

While I'm still recovering, Susan the never daunted Martha Srewart of Yachting and Camping read my post about Ft Desoto. So she has requested me to judge interest, she has found 3 campsites ajoining along the deep water sea wall for Nov 11/12. They allow 2 tents and 6 people per site but I bet we could hide Jonas, put a tail and some eye black him and they'd think he was just another coon She can reserve them if we have some interest as its 6 months in adavnce on reservations now. There are also some motels with docks not tooo far away but that should be the easy part. I know this is just what you wanted to think about but we would have to get then as they will be gone very quickly.

We would be interested in Ft. Desoto in Nov. Jonas could be numerous animals to blend in........ That is a short trip for us. I might be able to get there by Friday this time I could check out things by boat and be able to help with people traveling.

South south St Petersburg, its a Pinellas County park so easy to find the website. Danny I thought it would be much easier with the kids, since they find a bunch of stuff to do and you just load the car.

Let me know they fill up fast and we will reserve them, 3 sites would be fine for 18 people 19 with Jonas doing the his best racoon imatation.
I do want to get to the east coast though. We would need to keep it somewhere around WPB or Stuart or it would still be too far for the Mijami guys. Capt Chuck anyplace you can think of, doesn't need to be camping but still reasonable.

Steve-Here is a link to the park Ft. Desoto Park . Dixon, I am checking the calendar. Should work out great. I will let you know ASAP. We should be able to get Brian, Resurrection, and the TowBoat from around here. Eggmont Key is right there too for those explorer types. For the East Coast plan in the next year----The Sebastian Area Park that Skiblet mentioned would be a great spot for camping and Peanut Island in WPB would also pull the Mijami group as you mentioned.

Ft. Desoto in November- I'm going to try to make it to this one. My dad lives up in Gulfport, right up the road. I was down 2 years ago and spent an afternoon fishing off the beach and wading some grass flats off the backside at Desoto; it's beautiful.
