After two years on this boat things are starting to get good. We've added a teak trim strip to the lower border of the inside of the cap.
![]() ![]() Clamps removed. ![]() Forward over the anchor locker. ![]() Console work. Initial fabrication of the steering pod. ![]() Pod trial fit on the teak top of the console. ![]() The top of the console is in three pieces: the forward portion will receive the forward supports of the T top; the middle portion will "roll up" to reveal the electronics dash; and the after portion contains the steering pod, throttle/shift and the rear supports of the top. I'm trying to decide whether to epoxy the pod in place, or just leave the duct tape. ![]() |

That is going to be sweet!!!
I had a similiar plan for my Whitewater, the pod and hinged console. Then I decided to sell the boat. Can't wait to see it completed. Is the teak trim just bonded in place? Looks good. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sweet. That is going to be nice. I had some similar plans, though still very different from yours. I decided against the hinged console, but I am looking forward with great anticipation to seeing yours. It looks like you are doing a great job so far. I can't wait to see it completed.

Strick,
The teak came from an outfit called world panel products. I'm pretty sure they have a website. As far as power goes, I'm still putting off the decision. It will be a suzuki, probably the 300 since they have too much invested not to work the kinks out. |
