Default Testing the waters here...ENGINE SWAP...

OK...at wits end here...the 2008 Suzuki DF175 20" Shaft is not going to work on the SeaCraft SC20 when placed on the bracket...I have a chance to get a 2007-8 Suzuki DF140 25" at a great deal...looking to trade engines...Basically you'd be buying a 2007-8 DF 140 and leaving with an installed 2008 DF175...

So, is someone out there looking to upgrade the engine on a Carolina Skiff, Bass Boat, Bay Boat and interested in a 175 Suzie with 4.4 hours on her? break in done per Suzuki tech/specs...just need a 25" motor and willing to down size to get there...

Crabbers? Netters? Fresh Water Fishermen?

Whalens Marine can/will do the work...just need someone interested in making this work...willing to travel to make this work

good luck beach, someone is going to get a hell of a deal. it would help if you posted your location. if you have no bottom paint and minimal windage youll still see a little north of 40mph with the 140 on a bracket. i hit 37 in my seafari but that is with bottom paint and a massive top

Wow, that's a great deal for someone. Post on other forums, I'm sure someone will take you up on it.

Personally, I think you'll be happier you don't have that heavy 175 on a bracket. You'll like the 140.
