Default 2 Seafari's and dogs at the sandbar

FredH and I finally got together with the dogs at St. Lucie sandbar. Not the greatest weather but was fun getting together, comparing the boats and swapping ideas.
Don't know where the kid came from!

The dogs had fun too.

Then the storms hit! (That Seafari cabin is nice to have in weather like this!) Side curtains came in handy on the way home - can run in light to moderate rain and stay dry!

The day started out nice!

Shadow's favorite place to ride. (Those E-Tec's really are quiet!)

Denny..I had a great time...cant wait to do it again..we need a gathering in our area again..Next time we will have to do some test runs!!! Again you have a mint and beautiful Seacraft which was evident to many others at the sandbar...Seacrafts do attract quite a bit of attention!!!!HOW bout that other Seafari we saw!!! 3 in one location!!!!!
P.S. OH forgot to ask..do you still have that extra piece of pvc board around..I would like to do the same set up for a hatch over the splashwell!!!

I have quite a bit of both 1/2 & 3/4 left; I'd recommend using the 3/4" instead of the 1/2" stuff I used to reduce deflection when you step on it - just come by and bring a skil saw and we'll cut off what you need! The only other project I'm planning to use that stuff for is the IP redesign, and it shouldn't require very much. Denny

Thanks and welcome to the site! If you have a 20, most folks find they perform best with the lighter motors that they were originally designed for, in the 300-350 lb range. These boats don't have as much beam as the newer boats, so they're more sensitive to motor weight, but it's one of several reasons they ride so well!

Denny,
Are you and Fred going out Sunday? Ben? Any others?
Wookie the Pekingese doesn`t know what a boat is. Doesn`t like to ride in trucks either. Very entertaining though. Grunts snorts ,and snores. Makes wook wook wook sounds.

Probably not - have fuel system apart trying to troubleshoot a problem with Floscan system. GPH Gage is still good but looks like phototransistor in flowmeter died. May still be able to get that but unit is 20 years old and they no longer support the rest of the electronics, so fuel totalizer may be toast. Not a big problem as I still have the I-Command system which seems to be pretty accurate. It just bugs me when a gage doesn't work!

Hey Denny, try marine electronics of the outer banks. meob.com. My screen went poof on my old Furuno 1610 and I searched for months trying to find one as Furuno wanted 3 times what I paid for the combo just for an lcd.

Sandy, I laughed so hard I cried. I just imagined my dog doing something like that and I couldn't even sit upright for laughing. (I have a 50 lb 3 yr. old female Ancient/Smooth Collie - very calm and gentle)
