Default Transom repair supplies

Hi everyone,

I’m getting ready to redo my transom in my 23ft center console, and need help selecting the type, and amount of supplies, I will need to take on such a project. I have see a number of post on the process of repairing a rotting transom, but cannot find a thread on the amount of supplies needed for this repair.

I plan on inclosing the transom using two pieces of ¾ plywood, and will be using epoxy resin for all of the repairs.

So based on you guys past transoms repair jobs, how much epoxy resin have you guys gone through on the transom repair including the cap, and other miscellaneous stages that were completed?

What type of cloth is preferred or easiest to work with for this repair?
How many yards of cloth on average have you guys used for this repair?

Epoxy and cloth are EXPENSIVE here in Bermuda so I think I will be ordering everything from the uscomposites site for the build.

Thanks
