Sorry. Here are some pictures of a 23 Seacraft Sceptre with a Flybridge. I'm not sure but I think it was a custom job.

It the only Seacraft that looks like that I've seen. Probably a custom. It does get you about 3-4 ft. of height in terms of the helm position.

Those are built in Hawaii. They are a stretched 23 with the fly bridge. I have forgot what they call them but it's not called a seacraft even though it is a seacraft knock off. strick |

That is not a knock off but an actual scepter hull from the 70s rebuilt with a Hawaiian Yellowfin cab and flybridge. The knock offs referred to did not have the deep vee at the transom but were flattened and a hard reverse chine added for stability.

hundreds of hours of work and tens of thousands of dollars to get the boat you want, and a simple permit is going to carry weight in the decision of which hull to build ? you will spend more (much more) time changing sand paper disks than it will take to get the permit ![]() Requiring a bigger truck or bigger engines is a good reason not to go above 8.5' beam.

I love my flybridge but I do not think you could properly on a 23ft Seacraft.
The hull is just too narrow. I am sure you can do a crowsnest but converting it to an true flybridge with salon under it will raise the center of gravity too high in my opinion and it will have too many issues. My long term game plan is to upgrade to a 31 bertram with a single 350hp Yamaha OB. |
