Just realized that now there is no way I can put the old black rub rail back on her. Going to have to buy some white, maybe with stainless insert if the budget allows it...

Why can’t you use the original rub rail? Black will kick that paint scheme nicely. Taco makes some nice stainless steel with black inserts. One piling bump and White is a nightmare.

Also, if you’re original rub rail is same as mine, notice the bottom side of rail. It has an ever so small portion that redirects water back down as it climbs the hull sides. Bushwacker pointed this out to me, and how much drier she will be. I guess it’s all in the details. The little things...

Oh, and as said earlier, SLOW DOWN. This site doesn’t move at your speed.

LOL - I get a little bit OCD when it comes to working on projects. I used to restore Muscle Cars so a lot if this is second nature to me. I generally start with a vision in my head and then HAVE to get it out of my head. I am generally not happy until I see the finished results. I did the attached 1969 Road Runner (by myself including all body work, mechanical & electrical work and the entire interior) in less than a year so this boat is nothing LOL
