Default Re: Transom Height

Marc, I think it will be a toss up, I haven't had any problems either way (Originally powered with a 200 Evinrude x 25"). I have been the original owner (26 seasons) and the boat's "safety" has been one concern I really have never had to worry with. Still rock solid.
Since I will be going back to one engine, I will lose about 1/3 of the weight back there. Also, it will keep the cowling at ± gunwale level (those 2 140's can get quite loud after a 2˝ hour run). All in all, it's just taking it back to "original". Nothing like the real deal.
Good Luck and Tight Lines,
Animal Chris
