Default I'm new here. 23' Tsunami (2) i/o ---> (1 ) i/o ???

Hello all. I am new to your great site. I have a few questions, and I know I'm in the right place. I am looking to purchase a mid 70's 23' Tsunami w/ (2)4 cyl i/o's. I want to r/r these oldies and repower w/ a single 5.7 litre, bravo package.

How much work is involved in sealing the (2) existing i/o holes ?

Will the present motor mounts be usable for the single i/o, and if not what must be done ?

If the transom is shot, how hard is it to tear out the old transom and put in a new one ?

What is the best method to reduce the oversized hole in the floor, via fiberglass/wood when I reduce the size of the engine cover ?

Has anyone done this job, I would be interested in speaking to you.

What are some of the weak areas of these boats that I should look into when I survey her myself ?

Oh, and lastly - what is the approx cost to do this job ( I plan on doing ALL the work myself )

Thank you

- Alan
