Default Re: New Taco outriggers mounted

John B-

I think I was very lucky with my deal.I bought the entire setup for $600 from the Scouts Boat booth at the Dania Marine flea market. The $600 included (2) 15' 1.5" diameter TACO outrigger poles, (2) TACO grand slam mounts, rigging lines and all hardware and backing plates. The only other thing I had to purchase was a TACO weld on extrusion plate (mounting plate) from Consumer Marine Electronics for about $85.

From what I've been told by some friends in the industry...my deal was way below what they would pay for it wholesale (around $900).

With that said, give Marine Connection Liquidators a call....they had numerous sets on display when I was there in the spring.

Also, I would buy the 1.5" diameter poles and the Grand Slam mounts.....from what I've been told....the 1.25" diameter poles flex too much.

Good luck.

Ed
