Default Toronto Boat Show/ Lowrance's new Combo

Hey,

Just got back from the opening day at the Toronto Boat Show. Pretty much the same old stuff.

Finster, the Lowrance rep didn't have the new 19c OR a 104c at the show. They come to him next week. I did the homework, thanks, and you gotta love the 104c. I demo-ed the 16c, which is really pretty teriffic. There will some nice deals as they close this out. The dude said the redraw is the noticable improvement, as you had said. He actually recommended the shoot-thru-hull transducer and only the 50 MHz for freshwater in Lake Ontario under 700 ft. (which it is). He feels the the quality won't suffer and you won't lose the signal at speed like some transom mounts. I'm sure it's arguable, but that's the way I'd like to set it up. In the end, I'll probably go for the 19c. It'll be the centerpiece of my console re-do.

Best of Show? 29 Striper walk with twin 250 Fichts, 5 Kw gen, Marine Air reverse cycle HVAC, Hardtop and a terific layout. Sleeps 4, 6'4" head! $170,000 Cnd. Around USD $110k. They don't do SeaCraft's in Canada. What's a SeaCraft, eh?

Stoked,

Otto
