If I do .. The Seamark "Potter" bracket would be the one I would use. I just like everything about it as compared to some others I have seen. Also I personally would put in a full transom and cap ( the boat would look like an inboard model from the inside) and then attach the bracket to the closed transom .....regardless of the bracket manufacturer....

Do a search on transoms and brackets ....there's a ton of info on this board that might help answer some questions you have…..
