Default 1972 20' Pacer cc

I was receantly given a 20' 72 SeaCraft Pacer(found that name on instrument panel)the owner had it winterised and stored in a yard and it sat for 14 years,he was getting to old to put it in & out of water and wanted to get rid of it, I never had a boat before and liked the looks of it so I checked and it is solid no rot, transom stringers & hull are in great shape,he used it in fresh water and always trailered it,My question is all the boats I see on this site are open, mine has a cabin with a head, a mecury 140 sterndrive,Was this a standerd model? does anyone have any info on it?? the boat is in remarkable shape for its age, took a lot of scrubing was covered with tree sap, motor is original and after squirting oil in cylinders & having carb redone it runs great no smoke, is this a good boat for a novice ?? I have since had it in the bay at OC.NJ.a few times with no problems except starter is acting up and found a small hole near top of timing cover, losing a few drops of oil (covered it with epoxy till I get a replacement) guess it would be wise to change chain at same time.
