Actually guys, that hatch leads to an area large enough to sleep 2 people. Yes the offshore anchor stores down below along with the engines oil tank, third battery for the winch, 6 rods, all safety gear and med kit, life jackets and fishing tackle not in imediate use. Notice the raised foredeck, that's how we made the extra room down below.
