I'm in the same boat as you (no pun intended  ). My 2000 F150 is paid for and only has 69K on it, so it makes no sense to trade it in for something more fuel efficient at this time. Plus, a Civic sure as hell ain't gonna tow a 23-footer very well, nor will the wife's Saab wagon.  Otto, I'd be interested to hear your impressions of the new Civic. It's a really nice looking car and I've read some good things about them so far.
