Default Re: Ethanol!!!!!

I just got a note from Ryders cove about what they want you to do concerning Ethanol.
1 DO NOT mix E-10 and old fuel use up your old tank before filling with the e-10.

2 carry two or three spare filters for your water seperator/racor

3 boats older than mid eights do not have alchohol rated fuel fill vent and feed hose and they need to be replaced.

4 e-10 starts loosng its octane after 14 days, use of a NON alchohol base fuel stabilizer all the time is recomended.

5 buy your fuel just before your going to used the boat so its fresh dont fill the tank and let it sit for two weeks before using it.

All in all of you have an older fuel system your gonna have problems. If your not prepared. Get a good racor fuel filter and hope forhte best! Good luck Jon
