Yeah thats what i thought bayouboy.I didn't have a chance to talk to him as he was at a mercury seminar.From what i see on most competitive sites,the price is as you say only a few hundred dollars difference.
I'm going to get in touch with him after the holidays to discuss it,it may be as you said about the fresh water cooling.
This guy is a local boat dealer,who i trust,and has a good reputation with the local boating community.They started small twenty years ago,and although bigger now,they still have excellent customer service.
I don't mind spending a little more to give to a local guy,but i can't if it's that much of a difference.
Hopefully there's a reason,maybe it's a horizon setup.
