Default Re: SeaCraft Emblem

I have been working on it, and making little progress.
The contact at Deltona Mold did turn out to be too costly to make an injection mold ($15,000), so I've been experimenting with different products from the 'hobby' stores to make the mold.
From the responses on this post, I'm estimating about 20 emblems, so trying to stay away from the expensive mold prep.
If epoxy would be too brittle, is there an additive that would make it stonger? How would you apply a chrome film to the inside of a mold prior to pouring the apoxy?
