From what I was told ,the fish were caught in Nantucket waters and heading back they cut it to close and were in fed waters. Bam.. the fish were confiscated but no fine was imposed. Don't get me wrong, the CG is a good thing to see, when you are in trouble. I stay out of fed waters, not worth the chance or fines, not for a fish.
Now i see what you are talking about the Fed waters. When i fish Nantucket i am running back to Bass River ramp so hard to drift into Fed waters unless the OUZO bottle is opened.

Nor sure what was with the 15 fish, unless they just happened to have 15 fish aboard that were confisicated.

RIP, how do you know Jimmy? If you are into fishing, you will eventually cross his path. You are correct, great guy and he is an excellent fisherman especially when i am on board!

The SeaVee is a true beast! The only way i can describe it is that our boats skip along the water where as his with the single diesel carvers thru!
