Default Leak Through Fishbox Thru-Hull

I seem to be taking on a significant amount of water through this drain plug....even after taking it out....resealing it with 5200 and tightening the Thru-Hull back up nicely.

I can't figure it out! I am 99.99% sure that it is coming from here...but I could be wrong?

I know it's coming from the bow area of the boat...and I can hear a Drip/Running water noise from that general area.

Also because of the shape of the hull..the Thru-hull does not sit properly on the outside(the boat having a slight curve to the hull). So, there is a small gap...which WAS filled with 5200.

Now, that it still leaks....I'm puzzled. Help...I don't want my boat to sink! I have been aware of the leak...it is slow...but have not been able to detect it's location until recently. Hopefully we can pull it tommorow to fix the leak once and for all.

Note: The thru-hull is in excellent condition and is not cracked.
