The "design" is the same for the most part. After 8 years, if there where any serious construction issues, a good marine surveyor will find them. That boat is at least 8k under value, even in this market.

If you like the boat, get a marine surveyor to check out the motor, transom, decks, wiring, rigging, and hull for voids. If it comes back clean, and you like the boat, you got yourself a deal.

IMHO, most of the new boats that had any problems surfaced pretty fast over time, less than a year or 2. If it is solid now, it's probably a solid boat. Even a few of the old mythical hulls had problems, did I say get a surveyor
