Not so sure about the I/O theory...transom glass looks original?? no evidence of a hole for the I/O in the skin?? Notched transom?? The cut out portion looks to match the two transom seat/hatches and in-deck livewell that I have in my 73. Only difference I see from mine is that I have the hullside vents.
