Default Gelcoat halo

Previous owner to my 18' took off the TRAKKER stickers off both sides of boat. In the right light you can see the perfect outline of the letters along with the SeaCraft swirl logo. The finish is perfect where the lettering was, the exposed gelcoat just a bit yellow or offcolor.

Before I test various techniques to even out the whole thing, anyone have a hint on how best to achieve success here? Not looking for a showroom job!

I tried to take a picture but it just wasn't showing up.

Tx!
