Default 1970 20' rebuild begins......

I am not doing the work myself as I do not have the time or knowledge beyond basic boatworks.
We began a few weeks ago and have the cap removed and discovered all the "crap" that was suspected to lie below!
There were a few stringer issues, 3 floors stacked on top of one another, a new transom with lots of rot in the bottom, etc.
We have formulated a plan and are now working on the hull.
Hopefully I will be up and on the move by early summer.
There are going to be some new stringers, new floor, new transom, Armstrong bracket, livewell, etc......Everything will be constructed of HD foam material with minimal wood being used.
We figured that there was conservatively 450# of wet wood and foam removed from here belly...WOW! She would run about 46 KT's at the time.....can't wait!
I will put up some pics soon.....Maybe I can find one of the unopened bag of Lay's Original with a 1984 exp. date that came from under the cap!
