Nice Sceptre. Was that the one Jay was selling in Hyannis? The forward bilge pump is probably due to the Sceptre's slight bow-down attitude at rest with a single OB. My father's '82 had one up front for that reason. No bulkhead or anything blocking water flow to the rear, just water would run forward at rest. If you're keeping it on the trailer, you won't really need it but if it's in the water all season it'll come in handy.
