ct9amr: Thanks for posting the link to the other thread. Yes, this is the boat I saw a few years ago. I remember it was very solid, and very tired. All the brightwork is functional, but pitted, etc. The transom sounded solid, with no plugged holes from previous hardware being removed. IIRC, only a speedometer.
I'd still like to see it again, and see what a little buffing could bring out.
I know it's tough for the owner and his family to part with this, but realistically, I don't believe he'll be able to get what he's expecting out of it...whatever that might be. I've seen no price attached to it.
I sure hope it goes to an enthusiast, though, and not to someone who'll "restore" it into a CC!
