Default Tilt-Trim switch ?

Just need a little direction and where to look for the problem (corrosion bad switch).

When using the tilt trim switch on the throttle handle, the unit will always make noise to lower the unit. However to raise the unit all I get is a click...the clicking is in the rear by the pump. Of course when I want to check it when someone is around it then works.

So any ideas? Would you think it was in the throttle switch or in the back someplace ?
