Think I found my new 23! Need some advice

Hello folks,

I think I found my next seacraft project. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on this boat before I sell my 20.

I found a 81 23 that had some hull damage that was repaired and seems to look ok.

my question is...

what are the chances that this boat does not need a transom or a deck replacement?

Is is possible that the dealer is telling me the truth about the transom and deck? (he says they are both sound) - of course he does.

is is possible that an 81 transom is solid and the decks as well?
