Default self bailing

Has anyone that has done a complete redo on a 20' considered raising the floor an inch or so to improve the "wet feet syndrome" in the transom area? Everyone complains about water on their toes when several people are simultaneosly in the back fishing, I'm curious if anyone has replaced their floor just a bit higher than it originally was?
