Default new seacraft owner

i recently aquired a 1971 seacraft that was given to me bcause the friend was moving to arizona. i've owned a whaler for 7 years and am not familiar with this type of boat. i would greatly appreciate any info on this boat. the hull is a 1971 in excellent condition,23ft. with a cuddy. the engine is a 225 I/O with 60 hours, the box at the stern struck me a little.i,ve been unable to get any info about this boat.
i can tell already that i'm going to like it, it's solid all around.
if anyone could give me as much info as what to expect from this rig and what to watch out for, ect. i would be extremely greatful.
finally, what a great site this is well put together and already very helpfull to me. Thanks.
