Default Pricing & Transoms

Thought I would get some thoughts on pricing and value from the gods on Classicseacraft.
I am looking at an 1986 23 cc with a 90 225 johnson. the motor seems to be in good shape but the boat is cosmetically in need of help. Some minor softspots in deck, more like de-lam and the transom could be weak but I am not to sure.
Any thoughts on the price, asking is 14,900 and what are some signs to look at on the transom. It flexes a little bit when you really push the motor and has some cracking in the gel coat in the corners.
There is another 23 savage but it is a 1976 for the same price, not sure of the condition but will check it out tomorrow.
I hope I don't jinx myself by telling others of these boats and a mad rush starts
