Default Thanks Scott

Per Scott's advise I checked the fiberglassed flat boxes where the batteries sit on in the rear of my 23cc for moisture. Sure enough a small trickle of water leaked from the drilled hole. A witch hunt began!

Both sides held moisture. I will be relpacing them tomorrow provided it stops raining for at least 1 day. The rain has slowed my progress to the point were I may just put her in a shop soon. I have tested the stringers the same way in multiple areas bow to stern and I have nice dry stringers (thank you Jesus)

Thanks goes to Scott for alerting me to the possibility of moisture. I had no idea that there was wood in these flat boxes. I thought this area was part fiberglass foam- stringer system in these boats. I was wondering if there are any other areas on these boats that contain wood that I should know about other then the hatches, gunnel cap, battery boxes, and transom?
