That's sometyhing I want to do . A guy that used to frequesnt some early fishing boards 5 years ago from Mexico used to target big Roosters from shore... 60-80 # fish caught from the shore must be ultimate and surpassed only by the rarest on a fly from the beach!

Best I've done was a 5' Sturegeon on my surf rod for 3 minutes on the Sacramento and a lost 50 pound bass that half spooled me before line disintegrated...

I realize this is one of the best boat sites on the web but my heart is still in surfcasting [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
