I didn't go with the metal brackets cuz mine is staying in the water and Potter's bracket is completely enclosed floatation so you don't rely on a 2" strip to keep water out. I now have the room of a 25. It was more money but worth it to me. I posted some pics in the classicseacraft folder in boatzone.

Bill ....I saw your pictures of the bracket.....But do you have any of the whole bracket from the side or from behind (showing the transom, bracket and engines ??)Any pictures from inside ( they don’t need to look pretty either…. mid restorations shots work just fine for me !!!!
