Default Re: another scam

I did a lot of research on these jackasses last spring and found that the scammed engines showing up on Ebay were usually pics & descrptions of motors that were on BT at the same time. Then to make things worse they started advertising motors from adds on Ebay and placing them on BT for sale... All, of course, wanting to do a wire transfer...

I contacted both Ebay and BT several times to their fraud departments and neither could be bothered to get back on it. I had docemented several levels of scams but neither was interested.

Big thing with Ebay is you find one and check the items the seller has sold before and guarantee you won't find anything marine related. You'll find oddball stuff or stuff too old to list.

All those e-mails asking for your Ebay account info - whatdya think happens when someone is stupid (or maybe gullable is better) enough to reply to the e-mail with their account info.
