Default 20' cc 1972 For Sale, good project candidate!

For Sale: 1972 Seacraft 20' center console (not master angler) w/ 1982 Evinrude 140 and 1986 Load Rite roller trailer (not the trailer in the pic, which is junk). I bought this boat in FLA, but I do not have the time to restore it this year. I used the boat several times in FLA and it is a fully functional platform. I was told that the engine was rebuilt 3 years ago, and it starts easliy and runs strong. I spent $600 getting the engine cleaned out and tuned up, so it all works well.

The hull is solid, faded yellow, and could be brought back with a serious buff job. The boat has never had bottom paint on it! I did not drill into the transom, but there are no cracks and it appears solid. There are several soft spots on the floor, and the edges of the console have cracked through the top layer of glass on the floor. A full floor job is probably in order, but you could patch it and use it as is for awile if you so desire.

This hull is all original with no modifications. I have the hull and trailer registered in RI and titled in my name (no FLA funny business), and have paperwork on the engine as well.

Overall it is in tough cosmetic condition (typical for a FLA boat), but is solid otherwise. There are several cracks in the deck around the rod holder cut outs, but this is no major deal. Casting deck is in fine shape with no damage or soft areas. All hatches are solid and in place. One pedestal seat, no electronics, gas guage works, tack sometimes, old wiring, just what you would expect from an unrestored 1972 that has been dry used (remember, never painted, so presumably never kept in the water...)

I wish I had the time to put it back into shape, but alas...The boat is in Bristol, RI and is a good chance for someone in the NE area looking for a restorable platform. $4500 obo takes it all.
