Default Re: 23 SeaCraft CC in NJ

Abe,
Ed Mancini has the same motor and seems to like it a lot. I've been on his boat (23' Mako) a couple times, and it runs great and has no problem pushing the boat. Last summer, Ed did a marathon trip of running down to my house in Hull from Newburyport by water (50 miles), then the following morning we went down into Cape Cod Bay (35-40 miles), and reversed the route later that day. If I remember correctly, he burned 70 gallons while travelling 140 miles, netting 2mpg. Not bad for a no frills 2 stroke. The whole time, the engine never sputtered or hiccupped, nothing. Seems to be a great motor.

A buddy of mine had a '00 200 and raved about it too.
